Quinn Bingham is an African American artist local to Atlanta and native to Chicago, IL. He is known mostly for his abstract works but his span of artistry has varied throughout the years. His passion for the arts began in childhood and continued to grow with his participation in many school and local art contests. Over the years he achieved several accolades for his artistic work, yet he simultaneously studied Information Technology. He eventually enrolled at Chicago State University to pursue a BA in Computer Science. The artist subsequently decided to move to Georgia due to the lack of opportunity and in an attempt to create a new life outside of the midwest. While in GA he enrolled at Kennesaw State University for three years while supporting himself financially through work study programs, corporate jobs and nightlife events to sustain. In spite of occasional trouble with the authories, he was able to successfully land a career in corporate IT before dropping out of school. He grew and thrived in the IT field, landing a role in the research and development department in 2015. In 2014 he was unfortunately diagnosed with a rare retinal disease that would render him legally blind. He eventually resigned from IT in 2017. In spite of these obstacles, he has had 4 solo art shows and two collaborative artist events in the Atlanta area since 2015 Today, Quinn's focus has been geared towards family, the arts and his God given purpose to spread existence beyond canvas.
